Thanks to Gentry Sayad, on Thursday, July 21, 2016 Kilpatrick Townsend hosted Danny Marti, U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator visiting from Washington DC, at a special breakfast for the Presidents Roundtable (an organization of in-country presidents of multinational corporations) and at a luncheon for the American Chamber of Commerce Shanghai. At both events, the discussion focused on the current administration’s efforts and priorities relating to IP enforcement in China and the APAC region. Mr. Marti was joined by U.S. Consulate Shanghai IP Attaché, Michael Mangelson. Mr. Marti is the highest ranking authority on IP in the U.S. and is in charge of coordinating all IP enforcement complaints of U.S. brands and companies globally.
